Who is your greatest inspiration and why?
working moms- so hard to find a balance but such a rewarding journey if fortunate to have found your "village"
What are your hobbies and interests outside of work?
family vacations to hilton head island or the big island hawaii, going to concerts- music and dance
HIIT workouts, walking my dog, cooking and baking and eating out
What inspired you to work in pediatrics?
I am passionate about helping others and am fascinated by human behavior and how it evolves and develops over time. The last part of the brain to fully form can take up until the mid 20's and i feel supporting children and families with my personal and professional experience is the most rewarding part of my job.
What unique qualities, skills, or services set you apart, and how do you build a positive rapport with patients and their families?
i truly enjoy interacting with children and families and sometimes have been teased for asking too many questions at risk of seeming nosy... but really it's just how i get know someone. I believe only by building rapport, can trust and communication flow freely.
How do you accommodate patients with special needs?
I don't have specific training but do not discriminate in any way against those with special needs or differences. Our office is accommodating to all patients.
