What is your favorite animated movie or cartoon?

What is your favorite children's book and why?
Matilda - this was the first chapter book I read on my own because I was excited about reading.
What was your favorite childhood toy?
Beanie Babies
Who is your greatest inspiration and why?
My parents. They have set such an amazing example for me of what it means to work hard for what you want and never giving up.
What are your hobbies and interests outside of work?
Spending time with family, friends, and my dog Tino, traveling, reading, being a Pure Barre teacher
What inspired you to work in pediatrics?
I have always loved working with children so there was never really any question that I would go into pediatrics. There is something so hopeful and resilient about children that makes working in pediatrics so special. It is such an honor and privilege to be able to care for children and work with families to ensure that they have the support they need to raise healthy, happy children.
What unique qualities, skills, or services set you apart, and how do you build a positive rapport with patients and their families?
In my opinion, a positive relationship between the provider and patient/parent is absolutely essential for favorable health outcomes. My job as the provider is to make sure that my patients and families have all the information needed to make educated and informed decisions about their health. This means listening closely to their concerns and questions. I believe in working as a team with the patient and family.
