What is your favorite animated movie or cartoon?
My favorite children’s book is Charlotte's Web.
What is your favorite children's book?
Dr. Seuss books because they are fun and convey a unique message and my children really enjoyed them.
What was your favorite childhood toy?
My favorite childhood toy were dolls.
Who is your greatest inspiration?
My mother who is a pediatrician and was the 1st female from her town to go to college and 1st female to get MD pediatrics degree in spite of facing a lot of social hurdles.
What are your hobbies and interests outside of work?
My interests outside of work are spending time with my family and cooking.
What inspired you to work in pediatrics?
I spent a good part of my growing years in the children's hospital with my mother and have always been passionate about working with children. Children inspire me because they are utterly honest, curious and teach you to live and smile through any challenge.
What unique qualities, skills, or services set you apart, and how do you build a positive rapport with patients and their families?
Being a kind and compassionate listener, approachable and relating to all children and their families in a purposeful way.
How do you accommodate patients with special needs?
I see children of all diverse needs.
I also speak multiple languages including Telugu, Kannada, Tamil and Hindi.
