What is your favorite animated movie or cartoon?
My favorite movie is Shrek.
What is your favorite children's book?
My favorite children's book is The Little Engine That Could because it's a beautiful story of going above and beyond what you think possible in an effort to help others.
What was your favorite childhood toy?
Legos were my favorite childhood toy.
Who is your greatest inspiration?
My dad. He is one of a kind—fun, loving, and silly, yet the most hard-working and disciplined man I know.
What are your hobbies and interests outside of work?
Baseball, hiking, and going on adventures with my wife and son.
What inspired you to work in pediatrics?
Truthfully, I am a big kid at heart. So helping kids be the best, strongest, and healthiest version of themselves is fun and rewarding.
What unique qualities, skills, or services set you apart, and how do you build a positive rapport with patients and their families?
I strive to connect with each child in a meaningful way so they feel comfortable, cared for, and valued. I tailor my approach based on the child’s age, development, and temperament, and I have a few different strategies I use to build trust and engagement.
