What is your favorite animated movie or cartoon?
My favorite animated movie is Mulan.
What is your favorite children's book?
Amelia Bedelia because she is just so silly!
What was your favorite childhood toy?
My favorite childhood toys were Polly Pockets.
Who is your greatest inspiration?
My patients are my greatest inspiration because their happiness and tenacity are contagious.
What are your hobbies and interests outside of work?
My hobbies and interests outside of work are hiking, biking, tap dancing, reading, baking, and enjoying time with my two children.
What inspired you to work in pediatrics?
I am very passionate about the overall wellness of all children, and I am particularly interested in breastfeeding medicine, obesity prevention, and allergies and asthma.
What unique qualities, skills, or services set you apart, and how do you build a positive rapport with patients and their families?
I have a particular interest in breastfeeding and laction support. I provide OMM/ OMT (osteopathic manipulation medicine/technique.) I very much enjoy incorporating play and patient engagement in the visit. I encourage open communication with my families. I hope build an environment where parents and patients feel comfortable discussing a wide variety of topics and any questions.
