Finding Nemo has always been one of my favorite movies because of the fun storyline. I like that it shows the strength of family and the unconditional love between a parent and child.

I’ve always loved The Magic School Bus because it made science exciting and accessible, and it sparked curiosity about the world around us. The stories are good reminders that learning and growth come not just from knowledge, but also from curiosity and imagination.

One of my favorite childhood toys was our Bop It. I have fond memories of playing it with my sister until the batteries died and laughing endlessly as the commands got faster and faster.

My mom is my greatest inspiration. She taught me how to be caring and compassionate while also showing just enough tough love to foster independence and growth. From her, I learned the importance of family, the joy of cooking, and the adventures of travel, all lessons I carry with me today.

I love cooking, especially family recipes, Jewish cooking, and experimenting with new foods. Traveling internationally is also a passion of mine, both to visit family and to experience new cultures and history. I enjoy hiking and taking in the beauty of the Arizona desert. At home, I relax with puzzles and spend time with my wife and two poodle-mix rescue dogs, Benji and Tucker.

I've always had a love for being around kids, even when I was a kid myself, and that never went away. Working in the pediatric ICU solidified that for me. I've seen children overcome incredible challenges while still finding reasons to smile and laugh. Their resilience and positivity are inspiring, and I feel privileged to support them and their families through both joyful and difficult moments.

I believe that building trust starts with spending real time listening to families, not just about medical concerns, but about the everyday challenges of raising children and navigating barriers within health care. My diverse background helps me connect with families and provide cultural awareness and empathy. I strive to make children and families feel seen, supported, and understood while tailoring my approach to meet each family where they are.

I strive to provide an inclusive environment for all families and patients. I have a minor in special education and rehabilitation from the University of Arizona.
