We've been going to Scottsdale Children's for all children and love the providers. Dr. Litchsin from the old practice was amazing. We were sad when she retired however, we have found Dr. Patel. Dr. Patel has amazing bedside manner and will literally call you herself for test results. I do appreciate that gesture from the provider. We drive almost 40 mins to this practice one way just for this experience. The office/ backend staff on the other hand can use some enthusiasm, hence the 4 stars. It's very hard to get a hold of anyone from billing and the front office ladies seem very rushed.

Finding a pediatrician who truly takes the time to listen has been a challenge--until we met Dr. Piper Roehr. My daughter has always struggled to open up, especially as she's nearing the end of childhood and learning how to articulate those "big emotions" and the anxiety with what comes next. In the past, she often felt misunderstood or rushed through appointments, which made it even harder for her to express what she needed help with. Dr. Roehr was a game changer. From the moment we met her, she created a space that felt calm, respectful, and safe. She didn't just focus on the medical side--she saw the whole person. She took the time to understand my daughter's emotional landscape, her challenges with self-discipline, and her relationship with her body and health. For the first time, my daughter left an appointment feeling heard, understood, and motivated. Dr. Roehr's compassion, patience, and insight have made all the difference.
